HILDA MARTHA ZAJAC,
74, of Kingston, died following a long illness Sunday, October 11, 2015 in Medilodge Nursing Facility Cass City. She was born February 28, 1941 at home in Tuscola County to Oscar and Elsie (Bierlein) Bauer. She married Walter Edward Zajac December 20, 1969 in St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Richville, MI.
Hilda worked as an office assistant for many years for Wickes Agriculture in Cass City. She later worked for Walmart as a floor associate for about ten years. Hilda enjoyed collecting cookbooks and shopping. She truly enjoyed socializing and talking with her friends.
Hilda is survived by her husband, Walter; sons: Jeffrey (Kristy) Zajac of Nicollett, MN, Matthew (Valerie) Zajac of Kingston; grandchildren: Bryan, Lucas, Christopher and Jane; brother, Larry (Sheila) Bauer of Hemlock; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Zajac of Kingston; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Walter J. Zajac; brother, Adolph Bauer; sisters: Jeanette Bauer, Rose Solgat.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 in Kranz Funeral Home Kingston with Rev. Len Wyatt of Kingston Wesleyan Church officiating.
