LINDA LOUISE YOST,
Linda L. Yost, 70, of Deford, died Monday, June 10, 2013 in her home following a short illness. She was born May 7, 1943 in Cass City to Owen and Catherine (Peters) Quinn. She married Anthony Yost July 7, 1962 in Cass City.
Linda graduated from Cass City High School. She worked as a school bus driver for Cass City Schools for many years. Linda later worked for Walbro Manufacturing retiring in 2002 after many years. She was a member of AQHA and their horseback riding club and has over 5000 hours of riding horses. Linda loved horses, trail riding and spending time with her horse friends and family. She had a great love of animals especially her mini schnauzer, Otis.
Linda is survived by her husband, Anthony; daughter, Jacquelyn (Ty) Burns of Cass City; brother: Owen (Rosie) Quinn of Cass City; sister, Joan (Lou) McNulty of Argyle; very helpful nephew and niece, Jerry (Dawnie) Quinn of Cass City; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Anthony Moran of Phoenix, AZ. She is preceded in death by her son, Tony; sister, Rosalie Lenk and her parents.
Memorial service held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Jackie Roe, Cass City United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Novesta Township Cemetery.
