CAROLYN ANN WRIGHT
Carol A. Wright, 58, of Decker, died Thursday, February 24, 2005 in Bay Regional Medical Center, Bay City after a long illness. She was born Thanksgiving Day November 28, 1946 in Lexington, TN to Troy Lee and Ida Estell (Murren) Autry. She married Otis H. Wright August 29, 1964 in East Side Central Church of Christ, Detroit.
Carol started her college education in 1987 when she was 41 years old. She received her Bachelors Degree in 1991 in Elementary Education and received her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from SVSU in 1999. Carol worked for Detroit Public Schools, General Motors, Tuscola Intermediate School District and Kingston Community Schools. She enjoyed cooking, reading, needlework, gardening and her grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her husband, Otis; sons: Robert Steven Wright of Kingston, Scott Allen (Candy) Wright of Caro; daughter-in-law, Kathy Wright of Caro; grandchildren: Hannah, Jacob, Bram, Casey, and Evan Wright; brother, Charles William (Mary Lou) Autry of Parsons, TN; mother, Ida Estell Autry of Parsons, TN; sister-in- law, Gladys Autry of Chula Vista, CA; several nieces, nephews and many special friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Troy Autry; brothers: Roy Autry, Bobby Autry and Max Autry.
Funeral service held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2005 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Elder Glynn Wright of Van Dyke Church of Christ, Warren and Mr. Lyle Clarke of Cass City Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Township Cemetery, Shabbona. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Shults-Lewis Child and Family Services, Inc., P.O. Box 471, Valparaiso, IN 46383.
