SHELLY RUTH WINDSOR
61, of Deford, died unexpectedly Monday, December 21, 2020 in her home. She was born April 5, 1959 in Kalamazoo to James and Ruth (Endrichs) Wright. She married Jeffrey Hayes Windsor May 2, 1980 in Van Dyke Church of Christ, Warren.
Shelly worked as a dog breeder for thirty years. She had a giving spirit and loved being able to help make other families happy by uniting them with their fur babies. A devout Christian and selfless person, she lived every day to serve the Lord. Shelly was a member of the Bad Axe Church of Christ. She was deeply involved with church youth groups, most recently with helping run the KC3 kids club. Shelly always put others first and made sure that everyone around her was taken care of.
Shelly was married to her high school sweetheart, Jeff, for forty years. She was an amazing mother to her two sons. Being Nana to her two granddaughters brought her the greatest joy. From crafting and baking, to playing in the yard, she loved every second with her girls. Those were truly her greatest years.
Shelly is survived by her husband, Jeff; sons: Josh (Ashley) Windsor of Cass City; Bobby (Amanda) Windsor of Cass City; two granddaughters: Parker Windsor, Salem Windsor; parents, James (Ruth) Wright of Cass City; siblings: Dave (Freda) Wright of Lake Orion; Barb (Bill) Dempsey of Warren; Terri (Jerry) Robertson of Atlanta; Dan (Amy) Wright of Warren.
