Harold Theron Wills

July 30, 1936 — January 7, 2022

HAROLD THERON WILLS
85, of Cass City, went to be with the Lord and his love, Karen Wills, on Friday, January 7, 2022 in Marlette Hospice Residence. Harold was born July 30, 1936 to Stanley and Velma (King) Wills. He was the youngest of four siblings: Dorothy (Don) Wessels, Lee (Violet) Wills, and Arlene (Jerry) Lowe.

Harold met the love of his life, Karen, while attending Cass City Schools. They snuck their first kiss while he was in seventh grade. They were married on June 15, 1957 and together they built a life filled with love, family, and friends. Harold loved to hunt, fish and canoe down the Cass River. He built three campers which took himself, family and friends on several fishing and snowmobiling trips. Harold loved classic/antique cars which Karen supported. If the car didn’t rumble, Harold was told not to bring it home. He and Karen spent many weekends driving the cars in parades or at car shows. The antique cars allowed Harold and Karen to meet and befriend many individuals. Those who knew Harold knew he had a mischievous smile with a distinct twinkle in his eye. The Cass City community was very special to Harold. He and Karen helped start the Deford Community Church. He volunteered at Revive in Cass City. And he and Karen helped place the flags along the parade route for the Cass City Freedom Festival. Harold was a devote member of the Cass City Missionary Church. He loved the friendship, message and support the church provided to him and his family.

Harold is survived by his children: Chloe (Paul) Valentine of Fostoria, Kippen Wills of Ypsilanti, Tonna (Dan) Wilcox of Grand Blanc; grandchildren: Amy (Brian) Jaskiewicz, Scott (Kristen) Valentine, Katelyn Valentine, Taryn Wilcox and Lane Wilcox; great grandchildren: Piper Valentine, Jameson Jaskiewicz, Sawyer Valentine, Rowan Valentine and Jaxton Jaskiewicz; sister-in-law: Mary (Dave) Baker of Grayling; nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Karen.
