ANNA ELIZABETH WILKINSON,
96, of Kingston, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Touch of Home, Caro. She was born July 7, 1919 in Scalp Level, PA to Louis and Mary (Talos) Popp. She married W. Gerald Wilkinson on July 10, 1940 in Brown City. He died March 25, 1991.
Ann loved gardening and kept a large vegetable garden and many flower beds. She enjoyed watching birds and butterflies, her barn cats and the Detroit Tigers. She spent time crocheting and liked to cook. Ann was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Ann is survived by her children: Peggy (George) Dibble of Caro, Mary Ann (Paul Smythe) Wilkinson of Northville, Don (Sharon) Wilkinson of Stevensville; grandchildren: Susan (Jim) Ahern, Gerald (Erica) Dibble, Kenneth Smythe, Dennis Smythe, Kayla (Nathan) Wilkinson Dorff, Jared Wilkinson; great grandchildren: Sarah (Chris) Fessler, Aaron (Angel) Ahern, Jamie Dibble, Jason Dibble; great great grandchildren: Leland Fessler and Emma Fessler; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Wilkinson; brothers: George Popp, John Popp, Nicholas Popp, Steven Popp, Peter Popp, Louis Pope; sister, Florence Knuck.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Kranz Funeral Home Kingston with Pastor Len Wyatt of Kingston Wesleyan Church, officiating. Memorials may be made to Kingston Fire and Rescue. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
