GRACE I. WHITE
Grace I. White, 86, of Cass City, died Thursday, October 25, 2007 in her home. She was born February 13, 1921 in Drake, North Dakota to Fred and Ella (Laach) Beutler. She married Clyde Hyatt April 5, 1941 in Ohio. He died September 6, 1975. She later married Frank �"Bud” F. White September 7, 1991. He died August 1, 2001.
Grace worked for Pontiac Motors and, for many years, as a nurse’s aid for St. Joseph Hospital Flint in the newborn nursery. She attended Deford Community Church. Grace enjoyed cooking and baking for everyone. She enjoyed crocheting and playing games. Grace was very family oriented.
Grace is survived by her children: Larry Hyatt of Decker, Judy Brock of Grosse Pointe Farms, Barbara (Harold) MacAlpine of Snover; grandchildren: Corey Wilson, Shannon Smith, Sean Payton, Lesa Brock, Larry Hyatt Jr., Jennifer (Kevin) Osborne, Dennille Horne, Jason MacAlpine; great grandchildren: Randy, Hunter, Brandon, Hadyn, Ashley, Cierra, Justin, Logan, Olivia, Cassie, Dallas, Shane, Eric, Ashley, Lyndsey, Ethan, Crystal, Bradley and Sara; great great grandchildren: Landon, Alana, Camron. She is also survived by Bud’s family. Grace is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kathy MacAlpine; her brothers and sisters: Hazel, Verna, Vieta, Vern, Arlene, Wayne, Phyllis, and Bud.
Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2007 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Pastor David Cooper of Deford Community Church officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Services of Michigan-Hospice of Bay City or Deford Community Church.
