CLARA WASILKOWSKI Clara Agnes Wasilkowski, 81, of Madison Heights, died Thursday, February 3, 2005 in William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born July 11, 1923 in Roseville to George and Mary (Ryan) Golden. She married Edward Wasilkowski June 19, 1943 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Roseville. He died August 8, 1996. Clara graduated from Sacred Heart School in Roseville. She worked for many years in auto parts manufacturing plants, including Spartan Products. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and watching and feeding birds. Along with her husband, Clara did a great deal of walking and traveling, including three trips to Alaska. She loved her visits to the casinos. Clara was a member of FOE #3587 in Caro. Clara is survived by her daughter, Ursula Millar of Atlanta; grandchildren: Blake (Amy) Wasilkowski of Harrison Township, Brent Emmons, Brandon (Renae) Emmons, Bobbi Jo (Ben) Martin; four great grandchildren and her fifth great grandchild due in August; sisters: Mary Theuninck, Mable Wolff, Helena Berkholz; sisters-in-law: Lorraine (W. Don) Cutlip, Martha VanDucker, Evelyn VanDucker; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Peter Millar; sisters: Irene and Joanne; brother, Joseph; brothers-in-law: Raymond VanDucker and Leon VanDucker. Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2005 in Kranz Funeral Home, Kingston with Sr. Riccardina Silvestri of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wilmot officiating. Interment will be in East Dayton Township Cemetery, Caro. Because Clara was an animal lover, her family asks that memorials in her memory be made to Cass River Pet Friendz, Caro.
