Michael S. Wark, 19, of Cass City, died Saturday, April 24, 2004 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Huron County. He was born April 24, 1985 in Pigeon to Andrew and Kimberly (Zagorski) Wark.
Michael graduated from Cass City High School in 2003. He worked as a construction worker, and through IBEW Local #876 of Grand Rapids was anticipating beginning school at ALBAT in Ohio to be trained as a Lineman. He was a true sportsman. Michael loved to hunt, fish, play pool, and race dirt bikes. He especially enjoyed these things when friends and family were with him.
Michael is survived by his mother, Kimberly Wark of Cass City; brothers, Joshua Wark of Chicago, Kelby Rowell of Cass City; sister, Logan Rowell of Cass City; grandparents: Donna Zagorski of Cass City, Jim McDonald of Cass City, William and Joyce Wark of Akron; aunts and uncles: John Zagorski of Ubly and his special friend, Angie, Jurgen and Kristine Roth of Cass City, Allen Wark of Chicago, Aron Wark of Garland, TX, Ann Valentine of Marion; cousins: Kelton Roth, Zachary McCreedy, Jason and Alicia Valentine. Michael is preceded in death by his father, Andrew Wark.
Funeral services to be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2004 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, with Pastor JT Mabe of Mizpah Missionary Church officiating. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m., Monday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday
