SARAH EVELYN WALLS
S. Evelyn Walls, 90, of Kingston, died while visiting her daughter, Wednesday, October 12, 2011 in Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, WA. She was born June 6, 1921 in Ontario, Canada to Stanley and Violet (Tweedie) Coad. She married Rex Walls November 1, 1947 in Toledo, Ontario. He died October 11, 1983.
Evelyn attended one year of business school after graduating from high school. She worked at the Caro State Hospital for 16 years as a Nurse Attendant. Evelyn was a member of Kingston United Methodist Church and a charter member of Thumb Thimbles Quilting Club. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and quilting.
Evelyn is survived by her children: Bruce Walls of Kingston, Glen (Cheryl) Walls of Yuba City, CA, Lois (Rick) Stotter of Jackson, Chris (Melanie) Walls of Houghton, Mary Lou (Dennis) Hart of Everett, WA, Hugh Walls of Houghton; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Evelyn is also survived by her brother James D. Coad of Trenton, Ontario and sister, Luella Munro of Trenton, Ontario. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 20, 2011 in Kranz Funeral Home - Kingston with Rev. Debra Brown of the Kingston United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in East Dayton Cemetery in the spring of 2012. Memorials may be made to the Kingston United Methodist Church or American Heart Association.
