LINDA FERN VOSS,
70, of Deford, died peacefully Sunday, March 17, 2019 in Fisher Convalescent Home of Mayville. She was born June 17, 1948 in Cass City to Francis Alvin and Adeline Edna (Holzwort) Butler. She married Ronald Elmer Voss June 4, 1966 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Cass City.
Linda graduated Cass City High School with the class of 1966. She worked as a stay at home mom, allowing her the opportunity to babysit children of several families and friends for many years. Linda was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she served with the Ladies Aid and taught Sunday school. She was a 4H Leader and representative for thirty-three years. Linda baked beautiful wedding cakes for family and friends. She enjoyed time spent quilting, crocheting and bird watching.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of fifty two years, Ronald; her son, Ron (Mary Ann) Voss of Cass City; grandchildren: Andre (Justine) Voss, Zack (Jessica Ewald) Voss, Courtney (Benjamin) Miller, Mason Voss; great grandchildren: Keagan Voss, Devin Voss, McKayla Voss, Kara Voss, Mikelle Weiderhold, Danika Weiderhold, Dayton Weiderhold, Shea Miller, Asher Miller, Kierra Miller; step grandchildren: Jessica (Earl) Long, Jordan Finkbeiner, Courtney (Matthew) Reidel, Kirklynd Spencer; step great grandchildren: Destiny Long, Gage Long, Bowen Long, Rebecca Finkbeiner, Jeffrey Finkbeiner, Bryson Reidel, Ashlynd Reidel; sisters: Bonnie Zeidler of Cass City; Molli (Scott) Hartel of Rockford; Mari (Kurt Bliss) Butler Lowe of Cass City; Paula Butler of Ypsilanti; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kay Butler; brother-in-law, Bill Zeidler.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Cass City with Rev. Steve Bagnall officiating. Interment will be in Novesta Township Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mrs. Voss will be: Andre Voss, Zack Voss, Mason Voss, Kirklynd Spencer, Kevin Lowe, Brian Voss, Kyle Lowe. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
