David Troia

DAVID ANTHONY TROIA,
68, of Kingston died Thursday, January 6, 2011 in his home. He was born November 8, 1942 in Detroit to Joseph and Lena (Panazzo) Troia.

David served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Tubular Sales in Detroit and later for Service Steel also in Detroit. David was a member of Teamsters Local #247 for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards, especially Rummy. David was the caregiver for his Mom for many years. He truly enjoyed flea markets and visits by his family and friends. He was a member of the Kingston Amvets Post #1072 and the Caro American Legion Post #7.

David is survived by his brothers: Joseph (Lillian “Ruth”) Troia of Almont, John Troia of Dearborn, Robert (Susan) Troia of Canton; sister-in-law, Lee Troia of San Francisco, CA; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Cathy Mearnic; brother, Ron Troia; sister-in-law, Carol Troia.
