DAVID MICHAEL “MIKE” TRIBBLE
60, of Cass City, formerly of Mayville, passed away peacefully January 3, 2023 in his home following a lengthy illness. He was born January 20, 1962 in Pontiac to Marion “Doug” and Athelene “Shirley” (Hereford) Tribble. He married Pauline “Polly” Crawford on April 27, 1985 in Pontiac.
Mike worked for Chrysler until retiring in 2009. He had a deep passion for music particularly rock music, and loved sharing his favorite songs and bands with his children. Mike was known to be an excellent cook. His other favorite pastimes included working on cars, fishing, boating, watching Detroit Lions games on television, and spending time with his family.
Mike is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Pauline “Polly”; children: Jessie Tribble, Aaron Tribble, Sara (Jeremy) Brink, Julia Tribble, Lindsey Tribble, Elijah Tribble, Riley Tribble; thirteen beloved grandchildren, Grayson, Leland, MeKenzie, Zayden, Gabe, Vincent, Nixon, Nolan, Amelia, Riley, Owen, Jaxon, Stella; siblings, Becky (Alfred) Robbins, Paul (Linda) Tribble, Sandra Tribble-Bucy, Brenda Tribble, Linda (Brian) Sargent, Dan (Vicky) Gregor; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Paula Elliott; sister-in-law, Gayann Miller; brother-in-law, John McKinney. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, George and Willie Tribble; stepfather, John Gregor; father-in-law, JJ McKinney; sister-in-law, Alice McKinney; brothers-in-law: Raymond Diffee and Cecil Miller.
Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Pastor Jep Bryant of Living Word Worship Center officiating. Memorials may be made to Living Word Worship Center, Cass City. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery in the spring.
