FRANK MICHAEL TORDAI,
78, of Cass City, died Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in Hills and Dales General Hospital of Cass City. He was born June 14, 1943 in Budapest, Hungary to Ferenc and Margit (Imre) Tordai. He and his family arrived in the United States and Cass City in 1950. He married Jeri Lynn Mallory on July 19, 1968 and became a United States citizen in 1975.
Frank graduated from Cass City High School in 1962. He worked as a farmer, a truck driver, and was a member of Teamster’s Local 486 since 1971. Together, Frank and Jeri were co-owners of a local flower shop. Following his retirement, he and Jeri enjoyed traveling. Frank was fond of morning visits with his coffee buddies and taking his 1966 Pontiac Catalina to car shows with his friends. Playing cribbage and euchre were some of his past times, but naptime with his beagle, Sadie, was always a favorite. He loved seeing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Frank is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Jeri; son, Jamie (Vicki) Tordai of Cass City; daughter, Jodie (Al) Rosenstangel of Cass City; grandchildren: Allison Peruski, Aaron Tordai, Amber Tordai; many nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law: Rick (Nancy) Mallory, Michael (Becky) Mallory. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Danny Tordai; sister, Margit (Harold) Thomas and their sons; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Orville and Wattie Mallory.
