Patricia M. Toner, 76, of Cass City, died Sunday, July 13, 2003 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Caro after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born August 6, 1926 in Cass City to Harold and Myrtle (Curts) Murphy
Patricia went to beauty school after graduating and co-owned the Bee-Lov-Lee beauty shop in Cass City for many years. She also worked as a cook for the Cass City Schools and the Provincial House, now Tendercare Nursing Facility. She was a member of the Cass City United Methodist Church and the Echo Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a very devoted mother and actively supported her children’s interests.
Patricia is survived by her son, Jerry (Melissa) Toner of Cass City; daughter, Kathleen (Tom) Dorland of Cass City; grandchildren: Adam, Aaron, Krystee and Kevven Dorland, Zachary and Megan Toner; nieces and nephews: Michael (Jean) Murphy, Kris (Douglas) O’Dell, Scott (Michelle) Murphy, Patrick (Michelle) Murphy. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Keith Murphy.
A private committal service will be held at Elkland Township Cemetery Thursday, July 17, 2003. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
