STEPHEN ANDREW “CHUM” TESHO, JR.,
89, of Bridgeport, formerly of Cass City, died Sunday, February 27, 2011 in Tendercare Frankenmuth. He was born August 28, 1921 in Cass City to Steve and Laura (Muntz) Tesho. He married Dorothy Maxine Darling March 9, 1946 in Marlette.
Chum served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II. He was stationed in the South Pacific working on aircraft that had been damaged during battle. Chum worked as a heavy equipment operator for various companies. He enjoyed traveling, working in his yard and woodworking. He grew beautiful roses.
Chum is survived by his wife, Dorothy Tesho; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and David Scott of Saginaw; grandchildren: Staci (Mark) Henning, Christine (Mario) Enciso; great granddaughters: Carlie and Olivia; sisters-in-law: Doris Karr of Cass City, Marie Stickle of Cassopolis; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Joseph Darling.
Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Elder Guy Bennett of Community of Christ Church Bridgeport officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
