DOROTHY MAXINE TESHO
101, of Saginaw, formerly of Cass City, died Monday, October 3, 2022 in Covenant Health Care Cooper Campus, Saginaw. She was born September 1, 1921 in Cass City to Robert Everett and Myrtle Anna (Howey) Darling. She married Stephen Andrew “Chum” Tesho on March 9, 1946 in Marlette. He died February 27, 2011.
Dorothy enjoyed traveling with Chum to Hawaii, taking bus trips to the western states, and wintering on Lake Okeechobee, Florida. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy on television. Her other hobbies were completing crossword and jig saw puzzles. The secret to Dorothy’s longevity may have been eating a treat of ice cream, which she did daily for ninety years. She was an avid Detroit Tiger’s fan.
Dorothy is survived by her son-in-law, David Scott of Saginaw; granddaughters: Staci (Mark) Henning of Owosso, Christine (Mario) Enciso of Hemlock; great granddaughters: Carlie Henning, Olivia Enciso, Eva Enciso; niece, Paula Karr of Cass City; nephew, Mike Karr of Cass City; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Jeanne Scott; siblings: Marie Stickle, Doris Karr, Joe Darling.
Celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2022 in Charmont Restaurant, Cass City.
