Helen M. Taylor, 87, of Kingston, died Tuesday, November 19, 2002 in Rendon’s Young at Heart Adult Foster Care Home in Caro. She was born April 19, 1915 in Grand Rapids. She was adopted by John A. and Maude (Fanning) McKenney. She married Lloyd F. Taylor September 4, 1934 in Rochester. He died June 15, 1999.
Helen was a life member of the O.E.S. serving twice as Worthy Matron. She was a member of Kingston United Methodist Church. Helen and Lloyd enjoyed traveling and visited nearly all 50 of the United States. Helen drove school bus for Kingston Community Schools for 17 years. She enjoyed crafts.
Helen is survived by her children: Mary Lou (Richard) Watson of Sterling, Marvin Taylor of Winter Haven, CA, Larry J. Taylor of Elkhart, IN, John Taylor of New Carlisle, OH, Richard (Renae) Taylor of Kingston; grandchildren: Jacqueline (Myron) Kelley of Caro, Sandy (Charles) Schlaud of Marlette, Randy Weber of Attica, Paul (Gena) Weber of Atascadero, Ca, Eric (Michele) Weber of Davison, Jay (Heather) Taylor of Gainesville, GA, Michelle (Duane) Rice of Springfield, OH, Beth Taylor of St. Petersburg, FL, Patrick Taylor of Kingston, Kimberly (Brian) Luptowski of Essexville; great grandchildren: Shane (Tonna) Kelley, Devin Kelley, Nathan Schlaud, Nicole Schlaud, Kristy (Jim) Seaman, Paul Weber Jr., Lance Weber, Lauren Rice, James Rice, Morgan Taylor; great great grandchildren: Cody Creighton and Taryn Kelley. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan; son-in-law, Leo Weber, and sister, Beatrice.
Funeral services held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2002 at Kranz Funeral Home, Kingston, with Rev. Terry Butters of Kingston United Methodist Church officiating. Interment is in Kingston Cemetery, Kingston, MI. Memorials may be made to Kingston United Methodist Church Building Fund.
