KATHLEEN ANN TAIT
Kathleen Ann Tait, 63, of Cass City died Thursday, June 30, 2016 in the comfort of her home. She was born July 2, 1952 in Detroit to Charles and Molly (Palmer) Luellen. She married Richard Tait December 15, 1984 in Sterling Heights.
Kathy graduated from Lincoln High School in Ypsilanti. She received her license as a cosmetologist and worked as a hairdresser for 30 years. Kathy enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing and long hikes. She liked to travel and was learning to quilt. She was happiest in the company of her children and grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Richard; children: Gerald (Heather) Swinea of Ypsilanti; Shawn Swinea of Belleville; Tisha (Kimberly) Swinea of Byron; step sons: Jeff (Erin) Tait of Wolverine Lake, Shawn Tait of DeWitt, Karl Swinea of Belleville; granddaughters: Adyson Swinea, Kaye Swinea, Elyzabith Swinea, Anna Tait, Hailey Adkins; grandsons: Anthony Swinea, JJ Swinea; sister, Carrie Hill of Taylor; mother-in-law, Aletha "Dolly" Misch of Cass City; brother-in-law, Larry Tait of DeWitt; sister-in-law, Rosemary (George) Bushong of Cass City. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Loral Luellen; brother-in-law, Don Hill.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Brad Speirs of Novesta Church of Christ officiating.
