MARY SWIERCZYNSKI Mary Swierczynski, 81, of Deford, died Friday, February 25, 2005 in St. Marys Medical Center, Saginaw. She was born September 8, 1923 near Warsaw, Poland to Frank and Cecilia Skuza. She married Bernard Swierczynski in Poland. He died October 29, 1987. Mary worked on the farm. She enjoyed gardening, canning and did beautiful sewing. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wilmot. Mary joined other church members in singing polish hymns for special occasions. She had a beautiful smile and was always willing to help. Mary is survived by her son, Joseph Swierczynski of Deford; brother, Joseph Skuza of Poland; sister, Eugenia Skuza of Poland; spiritual adopted grandson, Tim Wolak; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; son, Gregory Swierczynski; sister, Janina Felisiak. Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2005 in St. Michael Catholic Church, Wilmot with Rev. Reginaldo Salcedo and Sr. Riccardina Silvestri officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Wilmot. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
