MARY STUART,
91, of Sandusky, died following a long illness, Monday, February 18, 2013 in Sanilac County Medical Care Facility. She was born December 25, 1921 in Vassar to Michael and Julia (King) Baker. She married Walter Stuart September 23, 1961 in Vassar. He died October 11, 1993.

Mary was a homemaker. She enjoyed housekeeping and yardwork. At one time she did manual labor for local farmers. Mary enjoyed crocheting, embroidering and quilting. She used her talents to make many pillowcases, pot holders and other things for friends and families. Mary loved Christian Television and had it on all day either watching or just listening.

Mary is survived by her many loving nieces, nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Joe, Steve, Mike; sisters: Julia, Rose, Anna and Catherine.

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Rev. Kenneth Norcross, Lapeer Church of God, officiating. Interment will take place in the spring in Novesta Township Cemetery, Cass City. Memorials may be made to Sanilac County Medical Care Facility Activities Fund.
