ROBERTA F. STINE
Roberta F. Stine, 86, of Cass City, died unexpectedly Friday, March 14, 2008 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Saginaw. She was born October 12, 1921 in Huron County to John and Pearl (Blanchard) Romig. She married Harrison H. Stine November 16, 1945 in the Ubly Presbyterian Church. He died April 6, 2001.
Roberta was a very active member of Fraser Presbyterian Church and instrumental in the dinners in the church. Roberta quilted, making many beautiful quilts and helped others with their quilts. In her early years, she served with United Way helping with the area collections. She was a pianist in her church for many years.
Roberta is survived by her two sons: David (Jean) Stine of Saginaw, Dennis (Sue) Stine of Sanford; grandchildren: Marc (Leslie) Stine of Durand, Laurin (Rick) Gierman of St. Johns, John (Nicole) Stine of Auburn, Jessica Stine of Sanford; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; sister, Pauline Hulburt of Cass City; brother, John (Art) Romig of Florida.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2008 in Kranz Funeral Home �- Cass City with Rev. David Blackburn of Fraser Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Fraser Presbyterian Church.
