STEVEN JON EMPEY

      Steven J. Empey, 60, of Clifford; formerly of Dallas-Fort Worth,Texas; passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep.  He was born August 18, 1963 to John and Mary Anne (Schneider) Empey in Little Falls, MN.

      Steven deeply loved his family and extended family, and his dogs.  He enjoyed watching documentaries and long afternoons at the lake boating with his military brothers.  Steven proudly served 20 years in the U.S. Navy before retiring. He was his daughter’s hero and raised her by himself.

      Steven is survived by his only daughter, Heather; his sister, Catherine. He is proceeded in death by his parents; brothers, Mark Empey, Robert Empey; his sister, Debra.    

      Respecting Steven’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a family service will be held at a later time.
