Raymond Stachura

Raymond J. Stachura, 67, of Deford, died Wednesday, November 19, 2003 in his home. He was born July 27, 1936 in Detroit, to Jacob and Mary (Skutnik) Stachura. He married Antoinette V. Zella November 7, 1964 in Detroit. They have lived in the Deford area since 1978.

Ray was a self-employed real estate salesman and insurance salesman. He was a member and past Governor of the Moose Lodge, formerly the Dearborn Heights Lodge and currently the Caro Lodge. Ray was a member of Potter’s House Christian Fellowship in Cass City. He was very mechanical and was Mr. Fixit for family and friends. Ray loved music, especially polish music including polkas.

Ray is survived by his wife, Antoinette; children: Annette (James) Scott of Clinton Township, Raymond K. (Diane) Stachura of Cass City; granddaughter, Lindsay Scott; sister-in-law, Mary Ann (Edward) Ranke of Rochester Hills.

Funeral services to be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2003 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Rev. F. Robert Tucker of Potter’s House Christian Fellowship officiating. Memorials may be made to the City Rescue Mission – Saginaw. Interment is in Novesta Township Cemetery, Cass City.
