ALLEN NICHOLAS ZIMMERMAN, SR.
Allen N. Zimmerman, 61, of Gagetown, died Thursday, May 18, 2006 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Saginaw following a long illness. He was born November 4, 1944 in Roseville to Nicholas and Alma (Schroeder) Zimmerman. Nicholas died shortly thereafter and Alma married Richard Mouton and the two raised Allen and his siblings. Allen married Charlotte I. Paridee April 24, 1963 in Mt. Clemens.
Allen worked for Tower Automotive in Sebewaing for 19 years, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed Bingo, Old Car shows and cruises. But, most important in Allen’s life was his children and grandchildren and spending time with them. Allen is survived by his wife, Charlotte; sons: Allen N. (Connie) Zimmerman, Jr. of Muskegon, Gary D. Zimmerman of Davison, Richard �"Rick” Zimmerman of Bad Axe, Chad (Mary) Zimmerman of Caro; grandchildren: Eric, Cheyenne, Lauren, Kelli, Joshua, Jessica, Andrea, Matthew, Keaton; sisters: Alma (Bud) Davis of Clinton, Nicky (Chris) Huizar of Redford; brothers: Dennis Zimmerman of Unionville; Ron (Sharon) Mouton of Drayton Plains; brother-in-law, Neil Little of Jacksonville, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: William Zimmerman and Arthur Zimmerman; sister, Joyce Little.
Funeral service held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2006 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Pastor Keith Misney of Living Word Church of God Worship Center officiating.
