Tammy Ann Spencer, 29, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 31, 2008 in her home in Mt. Pleasant. She was born May 5, 1979 in Cass City to Daniel J. and Ronda (Schenk) Spencer. Tammy was never married.
Tammy was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was always laughing and joking and truly loved holiday dinners and being with the people she loved. Tammy enjoyed the tribe cultural events and was being enlightened about the tribal culture and activities. She enjoyed listening to music and watching movies.
Tammy is survived by her son, Ethan Clark Finkbeiner of Caro; brother, Aaron Spencer of Cass City; aunts and uncles: Robert D. (Robin) Spencer, Mark E. (Mona) Spencer, Brad G. (Cheryl) Spencer, Chris Schenk (Frank Latner), Dawn Schenk, Lisa (Lance) Powell, Andy Tague, Tom (Jennifer) Rehmus, Terri (Dave) Osentoski; grandparents: August �"Sonny” and Shirley Schenk, Thomas and Judy Rehmus; nephew, Daniel Spencer; niece, Nevaeh Spencer; many cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel J. Spencer; mother, Ronda Powell; aunt, Katherine M. Ernst; uncle, Ernest Spencer Jr.
Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2008 in Kranz Funeral Home—Cass City with Rev. Robert Tucker, Potter’s House Christian Fellowship Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
