Sarah M. Spencer, 26, of Caro, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 7, 2009. She was born July 24, 1982 in Cass City to Robert D. and Robin L. (Mihacsi) Spencer.
Sarah was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan. She enjoyed watching movies, walking in the woods and hunting. Sarah loved spending time with her family and especially playing with her son, Chris and her nieces.
Sarah is survived by her son, Christopher Spencer-Ruiz of Mt. Pleasant; mother, Robin Spencer of Mt. Pleasant; sisters: Melissa Spencer of Mt. Pleasant, Stephanie (Wo Whiteside) Spencer of Caro; friend and father of her son, David Ruiz; grandparents, Kay and Ed Mihacsi of Caro; nieces: Alyssa and Sage; aunts and uncles: Mark and Mona Spencer of Caro, Brad and Cheryl Spencer of Caro, Chris and Rex Vroman of Kingston, Linda and Jim Ringle of Caro, Dawn and Pat Gokey of Caro, Shelly and Buddy Delisle of Kingston; and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Spencer; grandparents, Ernest and Juanita Spencer; aunt, Kathy Ernst; cousins: Tammy Spencer, Mathias “Matt” Ringle.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2009 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Pastor Jerry Bussell of Radiant Life Church of Freeland officiating.
