REBECCA MARENE SPENCER
Rebecca M. Spencer, 42, of Cass City, died following a long illness Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in her home. She was born October 15, 1973 in Detroit to Fred and Katherine Emily (Robinson) Dunford. She married Donald Lawrence Spencer October 29, 1994 in Deford.
Rebecca graduated from Imlay City High School. She enjoyed reading, especially mysteries. Becky also enjoyed camping and scrapbooking. She was a good friend and could always make people laugh. Becky was a very family centered, Christian woman and an inspiration to her daughters.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, Donald; daughters: Katheryne Spencer of Cass City, Taylor Spencer of Cass City; father, Fred Dunford of Princeton, WV; sister, Scheila (Jay) Lowery of Springfield, VA; brother, Matthew Dunford of Clare; nieces: Kayla Dunford and Sarah Dunford; Don's parents: Lawrence and Cheryl Spencer. Becky is preceded in death by her mother, Katherine Dunford.
Memorial service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016 in Deford Community Church, Deford with Pastor Stu Roy officiating. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
