GRAYDON LEE SPENCER,
61, of Cass City, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in Huron County Medical Care Facility, Bad Axe. He was born July 22, 1954 in Cass City the youngest of five children born to Jack and Vernita (O’Dell) Spencer.
Graydon worked for Reese Golf Course and Verona Hills Golf Club as mechanic and grounds keeper. He loved music and enjoyed playing guitar, banjo and harmonica. Graydon enjoyed tinkering and was talented working on small engines, chainsaws and golf carts. He would help anyone that needed it. Graydon loved feeding wildlife especially deer and turkey. Relaxing on his dock or in his boat feeding fish were favorite pastimes.
Graydon is survived by his daughter, Dinelle (Don) Harp of Gagetown; step son, Domonick Vargo of Saint Cloud, FL; brother, Roger (Pam) Spencer of Golden, MO; sisters: Jacqueline S. Hoag of Grand Rapids, Kaye Carmichael of Ionia; grandchildren: Donnie Harp III, Jewels Harp, Jasmine Harp and Alisia Vargo; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jeffery Spencer; son, Kyle Spencer.
Funeral service held 3 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Paul Carmichael officiating. Memorials may be made to Boy Scout Troop #594 or Family Discretionary Fund.
