Daniel J. Spencer, 43, of Caro, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Saginaw. He was born January 1, 1960 in Cass City to Ernest E. and Juanita A. (Jackson Ogemos) Spencer.
Daniel worked for A.J. Rehmus & Sons Construction Company for many years. He was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe. Daniel enjoyed hunting, especially for deer and bears, and also liked playing pool.
Daniel is survived by his children: Tammy Ann Spencer of Caro, Aaron Daniel Spencer of Caro; grandson, Ethan Clark Finkbeiner of Caro; siblings: Robert D. (Robin) Spencer, Mark E. (Mona) Spencer, Brad G. (Cheryl) Spencer, Katherine M. Ernst (James F. Cox) all of Caro; nieces and nephews: Melissa D., Stephanie L., and Sarah M. Spencer, Nathaniel L. Ernst, Kenya C. and Mark Spencer Jr.; great niece, Alyssa A. Ayers. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Kenneth L., Debbie, Paul, Terry, Carl and Ernie Jr.
Funeral services held 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2003 at Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Pastor Marc Knoedler of Juniata Baptist Church officiating. Interment is in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
