Mildred Smith

Mildred G. Smith, 88, of Cass City, died Wednesday, January 21, 2004 in Tendercare Nursing Facility, Cass City. She was born June 25, 1915 in Brown City to George and Lucie (McRae) Gleasure. She married J. E. Smith October 8, 1938 in Decker. Millie graduated from Brown City High School. She worked at Universal Oil Seal in Pontiac for many years. She was a member of the Cass City United Methodist Church and enjoyed making crafts to sell in their bazaar. Millie is survived by her husband, J.E. and son, Robert Smith. She is preceded in death by her brothers: Grant and Jule; sister, Iris. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Rev. George Ward of Cass City United Methodist Church officiating. Interment is in Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac. Memorials may be made to Cass City United Methodist Church.
