AMY LYNN SKILES
Amy L. Skiles, 29, of Cass City, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 14, 2006 in Covenant Health Care System Cooper Campus, Saginaw. She was born November 30, 1976 in Cass City to David and Delores (Williams) Skiles.
Amy loved her work as a teacher in a private school in Waterford, where she taught for three years. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Amy truly enjoyed her family and spending time with them.
Amy is survived by her parents: Delores Williams of Cass City, David (Tammy) Skiles of Deford; sister, Stephanie (Dustin) Bouverette of Fenton; brothers: David (Carrie) Skiles of Brighton, Jason (Laurie) Skiles of Deford, Bill Thane Jr. of Cass City, Scott Thane of Cass City, Christopher Skiles of Deford, Michael Skiles of Deford; nieces and nephews: Madison, Joshua, Tylor, Joseph, Stephanie, Rachel, Tyler, Bailey; great aunt, Mary Helen Wilson of Waterford; aunt, Mary Skiles of Deford. She is preceded in death by her son, Aidan Skiles-Fritts; grandma, Barbara Skiles; great grandma, Mary Spear; great uncle, Jim Wilson; grandpa, Arnold Skiles.
Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2006 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Pastor Ken Shelton of Grace and Restoration Fellowship Church, Brighton officiating. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Pallbearers for Amy will be her six brothers; David Skiles, Jason Skiles, Bill Thane Jr., Scott Thane, Christopher Skiles and Michael Skiles.
