Shirley Ann Knapp

SHIRLEY ANN KNAPP   

            Shirley A. Knapp, 87, of Cheboygan, died Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in her home.  She was born July 28, 1936 in Iowa to Leon and Blanche (Jorgenson) Clutz.  She married Alexander Robert Cleland. Later, she married Mickey Knapp in 1989.  He died in 2012.    

Shirley enjoyed visiting the casino in Mackinaw with her friends.  They would get together for lunch and try their luck with the slot machines.   Shirley was a Christian woman and a loving mother and grandmother.  She was a good cook and always kept up her home.  

            Shirley is survived by her sons:  Bill (Lori) Cleland of Cheboygan, Robert Arthur (Marsha) Cleland of Bad Axe; grandchildren:  Heather (Donnie) Rosati of Clarkston, Alex (Nella) Cleland of Rochester, Andy Cleland of Kuwait, A.J. (Bree) Cleland of Cheboygan; four great-grandchildren.  

            Funeral service held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Sam Leppert, Funeral Celebrant officiating.  Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery.

           Visitation:  11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024 Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City
