LOIS EMILY SELBY
Lois E. Selby, 79, of Cass City, died Friday, October 7, 2005 in Covenant Health Care Cooper Campus, Saginaw. She was born September 27, 1926 in Napoleon, OH to Jack and Ella (Vagen) McElroy. She married William Selby.
Lois worked for Cass City Public Schools as a parapro retiring in 1992. During her retirement she enjoyed ceramics, yard sales and spending time with her family. Lois enjoyed bowling, hooking rugs and volunteering at Rawson Memorial Library.
Lois is survived by her children: James Selby of Dallas, TX, Steven (Ada) Selby of The Colony, TX, Debra (Michael) Loucks of Charlotte, Richard Selby of Cass City; grandchildren: Donovan, William, Aaron, Samantha, Mari Ann; sisters: Maxine Harbord of Trenton, Margaret White of Grosse Ille, Joann (Wally) Hudyma of Holly Springs, NC; brothers: Charles (Shirley) McElroy of Sun Lake, AZ, Norman McElroy of Lincoln Park, Thomas (Connie) McElroy of Mobile, AL; many nieces and nephews; ex-husband, William and special sister-in-law, Doris. Lois is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Susan; son, Jack; brother, Jack McElroy; sister, Eleanor Bolthouse.
Memorial service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2005 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City. Memorials may be made to Rawson Memorial Library or ALS of Michigan, 21311 Civic center Dr. #200, Southfield, MI, 48076.
