Irvin R. Schram, 61, of Saginaw, formerly of Cass City, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 11, 2005 in his home. He was born August 21, 1943 in Kinde to William and Dorothy (Stiles) Schram.
Irvin served in the U.S. Navy and the Naval Reserves. After leaving the Navy he worked for General Motors on production, where he has continued to work until his disability retirement. Irvin enjoyed collecting Elvis and Star Trek memorabilia. Irvin is survived by his sons: Daniel L. Schram of Caro, James L. (Kathy) Schram of Cass City, Wayne D. (Janet) Schram of Caro; grandchildren: Justin Schram, Austin Schram and Joshua Kenward; sister, Linda (Keith) Cooper, brother, Leslie Schram; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David.
Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2005 at Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Pastor JT Mabe of Mizpah Missionary Church officiating. Interment will be held in the spring in Elkland Township Cemetery. Military services under the direction of Cass City VFW Post #3644. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
