RUTHANN WICHERT  

RuthAnn Wichert, 75, of Cass City, died Friday, July 14, 2023 in her home.  She was born March 1, 1948 in Pigeon to Willard and Florence (Barber) Eimers. 

RuthAnn married Gary Lee Wichert on August 27, 1966 in Pigeon.  They were blessed with a son, Garrett William Wichert on December 3, 1987.  RuthAnn was a wonderful mother and wife.  She loved having friends and family come to her home for coffee and good conversation.  RuthAnn was a member of the Cass City United Methodist Church. 

RuthAnn survived by her husband, Gary of Cass City; son, Garrett (Sara) Wichert of Cass City; three grandchildren:  Ethan, Sophia and David; brother, Gerald (Barbara) Eimers.  She is preceded in death by her brother, William Eimers and infant sister, Florence Eimers.     

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in Cass City United Methodist Church with Pastor Robert Demyanovich officiating.  Memorials may be made to Cass City United Methodist Church to benefit the Free Community Food Pantry.  Interment will be in Caseville Township Cemetery at a later date.    

Visitation:  3 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2023 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City

                   10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in Cass City United Methodist Church
