JOSEPHINE ROSE RUGGERO,
78, of Deford died peacefully Sunday, February 20, 2022 in Medilodge of Cass City. She was born March 5, 1943 in Highland Park to Angelo and Rose Marie (Teti) Izzi. She married Amerigo Michael “Mickey” Ruggero February, 14, 1993 in Deford. He died March 18, 2017.
Josephine raised her five sons and worked outside her home as a cook and a waitress. Later, she and her husband, Mickey owned and operated the Kingswood Inn of Kingston. Josephine was blessed with a talent for baking and decorating cakes, especially wedding cakes. Faithful to her catholic beliefs, she was a member of Our Lady Consolata Parish, St. Michael Catholic Church of Wilmot.
Josephine is survived by her children: Edward (Tracy) Androsuk of Warren, Michael (Kim) Androsuk of Warren, Anthony (Joyce) Androsuk of Dryden, Richard (Linda) Androsuk of Deford; step-daughter, Debbie Bonella; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mickey; son, John David Androsuk.
Memorial service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2022 in Our Lady Consolata Parish, St. Pancratius Catholic Church, Cass City with Deacon David Gillespie officiating.
