RICHARD ROLSTON
Richard Rolston, 79, of Ubly, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 7, 2004 in Huron Medical Center, Bad Axe. He was born August 21, 1924 at home on the family farm. Richard continued to live on the family farm until his death.
Richard farmed his entire life. He enjoyed woodworking (making birdhouses was one of his projects), and gardening (he planted gladiolas each year). He loved horses and playing Euchre with family and friends. Richard is survived by his nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Euretha Rolston; special friends: Tanya Vincent and her family. He was preceded in death by dear friend, Eugene Vincent; brothers: George Rolston, Stanley Rolston, Clarence Rolston and Russell Rolston; sister, Gladys Hill.
Funeral services to be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2004 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, with Chuck Emmert of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Charity of the Donor’s Choice. Interment will take place in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City.
