ROGER KENNETH ST. LOUIS
Roger K. St. Louis, 80, of Caro died peacefully June 9, 2023 with family at his side following a courageous, ten-year battle with leukemia in Covenant Medical Center, Cooper Campus, Saginaw. Roger was born November 14, 1942 in Detroit to Clarence and Fay (Aronson) St. Louis. He married Sharon Margaret Johnson on July 10, 1965 in Detroit.
Roger was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Local #17 IBEW. He worked for Thumb Electric Co-op as a journeyman lineman for twenty-seven years until retiring. Roger enjoyed his retirement years by going to Florida, during the winter, for several years with his wife Sharon. He loved spending time with family, having cookouts, and reminiscing. Roger was fond of going out for breakfast with his son on Saturdays and weekly visits meeting up with his special friend Mike. He always made the time for, and enjoyed, up north visits with his daughter and son-in- law. Dearest to his heart were his grandchildren. Roger was so proud of them and looked forward to spending every moment with them. His favorite pastimes included watching and feeding his birds, playing golf, and watching the Detroit Tigers.
Roger is survived by his wife of almost fifty-eight years, Sharon; daughter, Helen (Arnie) Hahn; son, Alan (Sheila) St. Louis; grandson, Matthew (Jessica) Bartnik; granddaughter, Rachel Bartnik; sister, Joan Paisley. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, David St. Louis; brother-in-law, David Paisley.
