EDNA MARGUERITE RODENBO
Edna M. Rodenbo, 88, of Kingston, died Thursday, January 12, 2006 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facility after a long illness. She was born August 12, 1917 in Kingston Township to William J. and Anna M. (Harneck) McLaren. She married Russell J. Rodenbo September 18, 1953 in Kingston. He died October 8, 1987.
Edna worked for L.A. Heineman & Son General Store in Kingston as a clerk for nine years before leaving to make their home in Rochester Hills. She was a member of Kingston Wesleyan Church and their Missionary Society. She was a former member of White Creek Floral Club. Edna enjoyed sewing clothes, reading and caring for her family.
Edna is survived by her daughter, JoAnn (Walter) Maule of Canton, GA; grandson, David A. (Eileen) Maule of Crystal Lake, IL; great grandchildren: Tori Maule, Dylan Maule, Joseph Maule, Jamie Leigh Maule; many nieces and nephews; special niece and nephew, Linda and Floyd McIntosh of Cass City; in-laws: Leland Lester of Kingston, Archie and Jean Rodenbo of Kingston. She is preceded in death by sisters: Leatha Thrasher, Phyllis Warner; brother, Harold McLaren.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2006 in Kingston Wesleyan Church with Rev. Kenneth Sanderfur officiating. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery, Kingston.
