BEVERLY JOANNE ROCKEFELLER
87, of Cass City, died following a brief illness, Tuesday, May 31, 2022 in her home. She was born February 19, 1935 in Cass City to John and Ethel (Silver) Bird. She married Donald Lee Rockefeller on August 8, 1964 in Fraser Presbyterian Church. He died January 17, 1984.
Bev lived on the same farm her entire life. She worked as a head cook at Hills and Dale’s General Hospital for twenty years. Bev enjoyed cooking and knitting. Since age three, she always owned a cat. Bev was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. She was a member of the Flint Antique Bottle Collectibles Club for eighteen years and a member of TOPS (take pounds off sensibly) for twenty-eight years.
Bev is survived by her brother, Jack Bird of Manistee; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald; brothers: William Bird, Douglas Bird.
