ROBERT ARNOLD FISCHER
    Robert A. Fischer, 82, of Saginaw Township, formerly of Cass City died Friday, October 6, 2023 in Bickford of Saginaw Township Nursing Facility.  He was born October 2, 1941 in Marlette to Arnold and Geraldine (McLean) Fischer.  He married Karen Jean Nemeth on August 24, 1963 in the First Presbyterian Church of Cass City.  She died Sunday, October 19, 2003.  
    Robert retired from General Cable and then kept busy delivering auto parts for Auto Value of Cass City which he really enjoyed.  He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cass City, singing in the choir and playing with the handbell choir.  Robert could often be seen riding his bike around town.  During his later years, as a resident of the nursing home, he was fond of playing Bingo and Tic-Tac-Toe.
   Robert is survived by his son-in-law, Frank Galarno II of Saginaw; many relatives and friends.  He is predeceased by his parents and his daughter, Bobbi Galarno. 
    Graveside service held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in Elkland Township Cemetery with Reverend Michele Hile officiating.
