ROBERT ENOCH ROBERSON,
66, of Mayville died unexpectedly Sunday, June 5, 2011 in Covenant Medical Center Cooper Campus, Saginaw. He was born December 17, 1944 in West Branch to Donald R. and Joyce M. (Cowles) Roberson. He married Karen Lois Hunter August 21, 1965 in Kingston.
Robert worked for General Motors at the Delphi plant in Saginaw as a Millwright, retiring after many years. He enjoyed hunting, bowling and playing softball and racquetball in earlier years. He enjoyed high school sports and volunteered as a basketball coach for a time at Kingston High School. Robert was an excellent woodworker, making many unique pieces of furniture and toys for family and friends. His greatest love and enjoyment came from spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his wife, Karen; children: Diana Roberson of Kingston, Lisa (Sam) Mosher of Mayville, Shawn Roberson of Redford, Bobbi Sue (Mike) Westerby of Kingston, Todd (Lacey) Roberson of Mayville; grandchildren: Chrystena, Jessica, Zac, Tony, Lauren, Braden, Jordis, Dez, Malawi, Cullen, Kylie and Colton; five great grandchildren; brothers: Ted (Marsha) Roberson of Kingston, David (Judy) Roberson of Kamich, ID; sisters: Janet (Dean Clinesmith) Kratz of Silverwood, Jeanette (David) Kratz of Kingston, Becky (Loren) Helmreich of Houston, TX; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Joyce Roberson and his in-laws, Clayton and Opal Hunter.
Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2011 in Kranz Funeral Home, Kingston with Rev. Debra Brown of Kingston United Methodist Church officiating.
