RICHARD BERNARD KLOC
Richard B. Kloc, 81, of Auburn Hills, formerly of Cass City, died Sunday, December 24, 2023 in Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital. He was born January 24, 1942 in Cass City to Peter and Mary (Mroz) Kloc.
Richard graduated from Cass City High School with the class of 1960. He served in the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964, during which time he was stationed, for two years, in Cuba. Richard worked at a seat belt factory in Ubly then FANUC Robotics in Rochester for sixteen years until his retirement in 2007. He traveled back and forth between his home in Auburn Hills and the family farm in Cass City where he took care of the homestead. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, and working outside.
Richard is survived by his sister, Chesterine (Jerry) Blahut of Grosse Ile; nieces and nephews: Karen (Larry) Lesowyk of Deford, Barbara Clarke of Sandusky, Marvin (Denise) Wolak of Canton; many great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sisters: Eleonora Kloc, Josephine Wolak, Frances Kloc; brothers: Joseph Kloc, Eugene Kloc, Walter Kloc; nephew, Mark Wolak; great nephews: Brendon Crosby, Devyn Broda.
Funeral Mass held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023 in Our Lady Consolata Parish, Cass City with Fr. Robert Pare officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Lady Consolata Parish, Cass City.
