LEON "BUCK" RHYNDRESS
Leon Rhyndress, 73, of Prescott, died Monday, February 12, 2007 in West Branch Regional Medical Center, West Branch. He was born March 24, 1933 in Richland, Ogemaw County to Leon and Beatrice (VanMeer) Rhyndress.
Buck served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He owned Fleetwood Fire Services a fire extinguisher maintenance business in Prescott.
Buck is survived by his children: Linda Edgar, Robert (Denise) Rhyndress of Hazel Park, Benny (Deborah) Rhyndress of Deford, Leon Rhyndress of Hazel Park; Henry Rhyndress of Hazel Park; several grandchildren; sisters: Leona, Jenise, Barb, and Ilene; brothers: Al, Larry, and Ted. He is preceded in death by his son, William �"Buzz” Rhyndress, sisters: Gloria Rhyndress and Virginia Howe; brother, John Rhyndress.
Private memorial service will be held at a future date. Buck’s cremated remains will be scattered on his mother’s property. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
