REEVA H. PETER REIMANN
Reeva Peter Reimann, 94, of Ada, formerly of Kingston, died Friday, July 6, 2007 in Sunrise Nursing Home, Ada, near Grand Rapids. She was born May 24, 1913 at the family homestead in Kingston to Harvey and Bertha (Deo) Tewksbury. She married Robert J. Peter February 17, 1935 in Pontiac. He died December 11, 1978. She later married Orrie William Reimann May 14, 1988 in St. Michael Catholic Church, Wilmot. He died February 18, 2000.
Reeva worked as a secretary for Kingston Insurance Company for 20 years. She loved to stay at home and share her home cooking with family and friends. She has been a member of the Kingston United Methodist Church for over 80 years. Reeva loved people and would do anything for anybody. She was very generous with herself. She has always been a happy and giving mother.
Reeva is survived by her children: Richard (Jan) Peter of Kingston, Robert (Judy) Peter of Howell, Marilyn Dale of Ada, Jane Ann Bergey of Mt. Pleasant, Jennifer (Don) VanDuren of Grand Rapids; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandson, David Peter; sisters: Erie Kelley, Eleanor Peter, Evelyn Campbell.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2007 in Kingston United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Donelson of Cass City United Methodist Church officiating. Memorials may be made to Kingston United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery, Kingston.
