Rosalie J. Reed , 70, of Cass City, died Thursday, October 23, 2003 in Covenant Medical Center-Cooper. She was born July 16, 1933 in Davison to Oscar and Elizabeth (Kennel) Uhl. She married Carl Reed Jr. August 23, 1952 in Unionville.
Rosalie was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a previous member of the Moravian Church in Unionville. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, birds and spending time fishing in Tawas.
Rosalie is survived by her husband, Carl; sons: David (Linda) Reed of Deford, Duane (Jeanette) Reed of Cass City, Jeffery (Terri) Reed of Tallmadge, OH; grandchildren: Jeremy, Patrick, Danielle, Samantha, Brianna and Heather Reed; brothers: Douglas (Patricia) Uhl of Seminole, FL, Kenneth (Diane) Uhl of PA, Glenn (Wanda) Uhl of Pontiac; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two infant sisters.
Funeral service held 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2003 at Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Debra L. Kranz officiating. Interment will be in Novesta Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
