Patrick F. Rabideau 76 of Cass City died Saturday July 29, 2006 at home. He was born January 10, 1930 in Gagetown to the late George and Della (Menzel) Rabideau. He married Fern L. McCreedy on July 22, 2000 in the Sutton Sunshine Church.
Pat had been a clerk for the Cass City Post Office for 25 years before retiring in 1984.
He was a charter member of White Creek Club and a former member of the Cass City Lions Club. He was a pilot and enjoyed boating.
Surviving are his wife, Fern, of Cass City; 4 daughters and spouses; Suzanne Humpert; special friend (Leon Wozniak); Patti (Daniel) VanGuilder, all of Bay City; Diane (Darry) Patterson, Kissimmee,FL; Kathy (Charles) Churchill, Burlington, Ont; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 8 stepchildren; also 3 brothers and spouses, Wayne �"buck” (Mary) Rabideau, Robert (Vivian) Rabideau, Dean (Myrtle) Rabideau, all of Cass City; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley in 1958, also 3 brothers, Dale, Lee and Elden Rabideau, also 2 half sisters, Velma Helwig and Marcella Seeley.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at the Kranz Funeral Home with Pastor Pat Robbins officiating. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
