MARY ISABELLE RABIDEAU
Mary Isabelle Walmsley Rabideau, 78, of Cass City, died Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in United Hospice of Marlette Residence Center, Marlette. She was born September 13, 1928 in Cass City to John and Eliza (DeLong) Walmsley. She married Wayne George Rabideau June 23, 1947 in Caro.
Mary graduated from Cass City Schools. She worked at the Cass City Ben Franklin Store and later managed the Caro Ben Franklin Store. She also worked at the election polls in town. Mary enjoyed sewing and crafts and was the friendly face so many saw when they bought fabric at the Ben Franklin Store. She loved animals and was the safe haven for Rusty, Duke, George, Blacky and many more.
Mary is survived by her husband, Wayne "Buck"” Rabideau; children: Gayle Sleight of Akron, Natalie Putnam (Gary) of Oxford, Nannette (Roger) Zdrojewski of Aguila, AZ; son-in-law, Alan (Marilyn) Klco; grandchildren: Sylvia (Scott) Benjamin, Lisa (Ron) Avery, Paula (Tim) Hughes, Sarah Rutkowski, Alysha Rutkowski, Matthew Groombridge, Jennifer (Darin) Sroka, Andrew Klco, Katie Klco, Kyle Putnam, Amy (Virgil) Peters, Holly (Matt) Lehman, Chris (Correna) Klco, Tina (Matt) McKenzie, Lisa (Rod) Peruski, Kristy (Rick) Moore; great-grandchildren: Alaina Benjamin, Isaac Benjamin, Samantha Hughes, Heather Baker, Haley Sroka, Amber Meldrum, Makinzy Benjamin; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Klco, granddaughter-in-law, Christina Groombridge; brothers: Andrew, Jim, William, Chuck, Robert, infant twins; sisters: Charlotte, Elizabeth, Martha, Janet, Catherine.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2006 in St. Pancratius Catholic Church, Cass City with Rev. Stephen J. Fillion officiating. Memorials may be made to United Hospice of Marlette.
