RODGER DALE PUGH,
60, of Deford, died surrounded by his family Sunday, September 22, 2013 following a short illness. He was born May 4, 1953 in Hazel Park to John and Edith (Laws) Pugh.

Rodger graduated from Cass City High School in 1971. After high school he worked for Marlette Homes. Rodger worked as a semi truck driver for Stevens Van Line, Walthers Potato Farm and most recently for Meredith and Albrecht Trucking in Snover. Rodger enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Rodger is survived by his loving companion of many years, Elaine Zalut; children: Beverly Pugh of Saginaw, John (Erica) Pugh of Caro; grandchildren: Colton and Madison; brother, Albert (Kathy Evans) Pugh of Allegan; sister, Sandy (Alan) Ouillette of Posen; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Edith Pugh and his parents.

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in Kranz Funeral Home, Kingston with Pastor David Cooper of Deford Community Church officiating. Interment will be in Novesta Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
